Standard 48×40 GMA wooden pallets dominate demand and pricing. These are what every warehouse, distributor, and manufacturer needs, so we pay premium rates. Grade A condition brings $6-8 each, Grade B still pulls $3-5.
Plastic pallets often pay more per unit because plastic recycling has fewer quality restrictions and higher material value. HDPE, PET, and PE varieties all have strong markets.
Metal pallets with steel or aluminum frames command good scrap value, though they’re less common. Custom wood sizes still have buyers, just not as many, so pricing varies based on current demand.
